BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration (EI)
The BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration category allows foreign nationals to invest and run a business in the province of British Columbia, while pursuing a path towards permanent residency for them and their family. It is a points-based program where applicants are accepted into the program depending on their business experience, investment capacity, business plan language ability among other factors.
Steps towards Provincial Nomination:
- The applicant or group of applicants must submit a business plan
- The plan will be evaluated by the BC PNP program officials who will approve or reject the business plan.
- Once approved, the applicants will sign a performance agreement and will be issued a work permit to invest and work on the business over the course of 14 – 20 months.
- The BC PNP Officials will evaluate whether the applicant(s) have met the objectives of the performance bond and will nominate the applicant(s) for PR if approved.
- The applicant(s) can them apply for PR on the basis of this provincial nomination.
